JPEG vs RAW

The differences between these two files are file sizes, image quality, speed, imaging and sharing. A JPEG file compresses the image to make the file smaller. Raw files are not images they are large files filled with image data. If you were to shoot a special event it would be good to set it in RAW because the image quality is better. It is possible to have a RAW be filed by a JPEG depending on the camera you use.
