I feel like black and white photo’s can intrigue me, W. Eugene Smith had some photos from war. Since my favorite subject is history it’s going to want me to look longer and see every detail. There were some photos with soldiers either dead, getting ready to fire and drinking out of their canteen. There was a photo of a huge explosion when a team was blowing up a cave. He also captured people in pain with a photo of two children crying and a doctor after he lost a patient, but he can also capture something with laughter in a photo he took it looks like a clown about to spill water on a officer for a trick.  I thought that he had a lot of composition in his photos.
